If you are conscious that your employer might be observing you at a distance through a hidden camera, be curious and locate it. Here are some tips on how.
Limit range of vision
If you have just entered the room, the most conventional method of finding a hidden camera is by focusing you range of vision to a more narrow area. To do this, you may use some kind of tube for your eyes. A good instrument would be a cardboard toilet paper tube, a cling wrap, or a paper towel. If none of this is in the vicinity, you may use your two hands to form a makeshift telescope. Afterwards, look around the room using the tube to find any hidden camera.
Find a source of light
Next step to take is to find a source of light if the room isn’t well-lit. You may use a flashlight or the lights in your mobile phone for this. If you don’t have one near you, you can improvise by putting some directional LED light on the tube. Adequate lighting is needed to scan the room for some hidden cameras.
Observe the room
Scan the perimeters of the room but try not to look suspicious. View through the cardboard tube while holding the flashlight at eye level. Focus the light to where you are looking. If you can notice any sparkle of light being reflected back at you, it’s one sign that it could be a hidden camera.
Monitor the room further; search every corner of the room. Check any area of the room for any reflection. This reflection can be brought about by a piece of dust or other tiny debris or this could be a reflection resulting from the lens of the hidden camera. Look closely on the ceiling, walls or shelves for any unusual objects,
